Dr. Geoffrey Nase -- Rosacea Photos, Rosacea Symptom Photos, Rosacea Clearance Photos, and Remission Photos (8 years and counting)

Goal of Dr. Nase's Photo Series for Progression of rosacea, treatment of rosacea and long-
  term remission:

  1. This page will contain approximately 30 photos of Dr. Nase showing severe rosacea that affected his face and eyes for nearly 20 years (facial redness, facial flushing, facial papules, phymatous skin and ocular rosacea).

  2. This page will show the unique characteristics of rosacea -- good days vs bad days and how rosacea seeks revenge following triggers and flares; causing increased sensitivity to triggers for many days after the internal or external insult.

  3. This page will show you photos of rosacea progression -- especially note how to gauge progression and what to look for and examine.

  4. This page will clearly demonstrate that rosacea can be beaten:
    • First, halt the progression of this chronic vascular disorder
    • Second, reverse the superficial symptoms
    • Third, address the deep rosacea inflammation and flushing responsible for triggers
    • Fourth, demonstrate that no matter how severe the case, rosacea can be effectively treated.  It just takes multiple treatment protocols in an aggressive, but safe application.  Treatment must be individually tailored to each case.  Everyone is different.  Thus, the need for rosacea subtype-directed treatment and rosacea symptom-directed treatment.
    • Fifth, show that severe rosacea can be held in total remission for nearly a decade.... without having to avoid 'rosacea triggers'.  In fact, rosacea sufferers can tan again (wisely) exercise at full strength, and handle long, stressfull days at work.
    • I have collected these photos over four decades.  They create a visible story and show a true picture of the nature of rosacea and its correlation with "visible" facial flushing and "invisible" facial flushing that occurs deep in the dermis and fatty tissue.
