I am a Ph.D. Microvascular Physiologist who performs biomedical
research at a major medical university. I am a medical scientist
and a former rosacea sufferer. "Beating Rosacea: Vascular, Ocular
and Acne Forms" is intended to be educational and is not a
guide to self-diagnosis, self-medication, or self-treatment. A reliable
diagnosis and medical treatment can only be made by a physician.

It must be stressed that there are many forms and stages of rosacea
and therefore a physician or other qualified health professional
must be consulted prior to commencement of any treatment regimen.
It is a sign of wisdom, not cowardice, to seek a second or third
professional opinion
It is germane to point out that rosacea sites are popping up
by the hundreds as the disorder continues to grab the attention
of the medical world. There are now many sites that are illegally
using my endorsements or my name without permission. There
are also websites that are mimicking my web site and book.
